Abstract:
The article substantiates the integrated approach to the formation of interpretation competence of the future leader of the orchestra. The content of the key concepts «integrated approach» and «interpretive competence» has been clarified. The professional and psychological characteristics of the conductor and the stages of working on a piece of music, which have a positive effect on the formation of the interpretation competence of the future leader of the orchestra, are determined.
An integrated approach to the formation of the interpretive competence of the future leader of the orchestra is a creative process that, regardless of the style and era of the performed work, has general universal laws of interpretation, decoding of the musical text and their performance.
The conductor’s interpretative competence consists in modernizing the works of classical heritage and modern composers, provided that the stylistic features of the composer or a certain historical era are preserved within the author’s text. In the broadest sense, the interpretive competence of the future leader of an orchestra is one of the types of creative activity of a person, is a holistic, multi-component process, as a result of which there is an understanding of the already existing and the creation of a new, fully original individual-personal one on the basis of subject-subjective dialogic interaction of the musical text at all its levels and the personality of the performer-interpreter.
It is appropriate to note that the formation of interpretive competence contains great opportunities for revealing the individual and creative abilities of the future orchestra leader, because the process of preparing for the performance of a musical piece becomes an individual creativity for the conductor.
Keywords: integrated approach, interpretive competence, head of the orchestra.
