Abstract:
The article reveals the peculiarities of pedagogical practice in the system of formation of professional competence of the future teacher of geography.
The conceptual principles of the organization of pedagogical practice are determined (the personally-oriented nature of student training; continuity, systematicity of practice, complication of its content and methods from course to course; the connection of practice with the study of theoretical disciplines, the unity of the scientific-theoretical validity of practice and the reality of educational activity in school, etc.).
The role, purpose, tasks of pedagogical practice are disclosed. Its functions are determined: adaptive, educational, developmental, diagnostic.
The content of the practice has been updated in the aspect of modern conceptual approaches: anthropological, competence and activity. The purpose of the improved practice and its tasks are determined. The main principles of pedagogic practice are revealed (self-development of the student’s personality, multi-functionality of the student’s activity, simultaneous performance of various professional functions during practice and mastering of professional roles: teacher, educator, group leader, activity organizer, consultant, etc.; integrity of the educational process based on dialogue technologies that stimulate unity teaching, learning, upbringing, self-education and research).
The functions of improved pedagogical practice are determined: adaptive, educational, developmental, diagnostic. Reasonably, the conditions of preparation, organization and conducting of pedagogical practice can be conditionally divided into psychological-pedagogical, organizational and didactic. Determinant of stages of student preparation for pedagogical practice: theoretical (orientational); theoretical-practical (stimulating) and effective-practical (divergent). The means of preparing future teachers of geography for pedagogical practice are disclosed, we distinguish professionally oriented (geography textbooks, maps, methodical guides on the subject, reference plans-summaries, tables, audiovisual aids, computer programs) and game (improvisation, imitation). Forms and methods of dialogue technologies for providing pedagogical practice are defined: professionally oriented courses and electives, excursions, expeditions, business games, individual and collective pedagogical projects, trainings and video trainings, role-playing games, etc.
