Abstract:
The author of the article has raised the problem of forming the informational culture of a personality. The requirements for the professional activity of primary school teachers in the era of informatization of education have been described. The possibilities of informational and communicative technologies (ICT) in the formation of the informational culture of future teachers have been outlined. It has been found that informational culture is a component of the general culture of the individual and an important prerequisite for its existence and development in the modern information space.
The informational culture of primary school teachers is their qualitative professional and personal characteristic, which serves as the basis for the ability to work with information, usage of various informational resources, means of communication and technologies to solve professional problems.
It has been established that ICTs help to form a number of key qualities, including a culture of searching for and sharing new information, the ability to effectively process large amounts of data, conduct Internet searches, understand the importance of ethical interaction in professional communication, and the ability to share experiences in modern information systems. Modern ICTs play a leading role in the professional training of future teachers, contributing to the intensification of the educational process, the formation of the informational culture of future specialists and increasing motivation for professional self-development and self-improvement.
It has been emphasized that one of the determining conditions for the formation of the informational culture of future primary school teachers is the organization of their activities in the informational and educational environment of the higher educational institution. Performing tasks with the help of ICT arouses research interest in applicants for higher education, intensifies search activities, increases motivation to study academic disciplines, fosters independence and group work skills, and also forms a responsible attitude to the tasks. It has been concluded that the successful solution of professional tasks that will inevitably have to be dealt with in future professional activities depends on the formation of informational culture.
