Abstract:
The article deals with the organization of group interaction of high school students in team sports. In Ukraine, physical education of children, adolescents, young men and girls is carried out by the joint efforts of educational authorities, trade unions and sports organizations. The regulations regarding the organization of group interaction of high school students in team sports have been disclosed. The specific features of the physical education teacher’s work in team sports are revealed. The formation of the personality of young and adult athletes is closely related to self-education. In team sports, the coach faces the task of creating a good team - a cohesive team of players capable of working. One of these most important features is the creation and maintenance of a special psychological climate in the team, the so-called team spirit.
Sports training involves a multi-year process of improvement of the athlete in the chosen sport. During the longterm process, the formation and improvement of the necessary abilities and skills are ensured in combination with the development of physical qualities and the education of willpower and moral qualities.
For individual and team sports, the characteristics of the psychology of winners: the presence of real and breakthrough goals, the presence of creative thinking, a high level of self-regulation development, a competent attitude to losing as feedback, team psychology has a number of features. One of these most important features is the creation and maintenance of a special psychological climate in the team, the so-called team spirit. The coach should pay special attention to this problem. The actual capabilities of the team can be seen as the difference between the potential of the team and the processes occurring within the team. The worse the psychological climate in the team, the lower its potential, regardless of the skill level of individual players – members of the team. Therefore, the psychological climate of the team directly affects the results of the team’s performance.
