Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the head teacher and choreographer of the amateur choreographic collective «Youth of Transcarpathia», People’s Artist of Ukraine Mykhailo Lvovich Suslikov. The creative repertoire of the collective «Youth of Transcarpathia», as a significant component of the pedagogical and choreographic heritage of the regional choreographic art of Transcarpathia.
Today, there is a growing understanding in society that ensuring the security of the country, adequate response to external and internal challenges in a timely manner, creating conditions for intensive economic development is interconnected with the spiritual development of society, the development of the cultural sphere, the level of its state support, and definitely with the level of national identity subjects of social activity.
Popular amateur art turns into a «mass form», creating a foundation for professional art. Suslikov’s choreographic works created a reserve for the realization of creative ideas in the repertoire of professional choreographic collectives of Transcarpathia, such as the ballet troupe of the communal cultural institution «Honored Academic Transcarpathian People’s Choir» of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, the communal institution «Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic» of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, the ensemble «Transcarpathian Patterns», ballet troupe of the communal institution «Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after the brothers Yury-Augustyn and Yevhen Sheregiiv» of the Transcarpathian Regional Council.
