Abstract:
The author of the article has described the peculiarities of modern preschool education, in particular, one of the priority directions of modernization – the compliance with the ideas of humanistic pedagogy, which consists in the flexible usage by the educator of an integrated and diverse system of means, forms, methods and techniques of educational activities to present a holistic picture of the personal development of each pupil.
The importance of implementing an individual and differentiated approach to children in preschool educational institutions has been substantiated, which in its turn involves a system of interrelated and complementary steps through which the educator designs educational and developmental activities in accordance with the characteristics of the individual development of each child. It has been noted that differentiation of learning plays a special role in the implementation of an individual approach. It is realized through the selection of the content of educational material and methods of working with preschoolers, due to the peculiarities of their perception, memory, thinking, emotional and volitional sphere.
It has been emphasized that one of the expressions of creativity is an indicator of a child’s speech development, which requires a differentiated approach first of all. It has been found that a differentiated approach to teaching speech and non-speech means of communication includes not only taking into account the speech characteristics of each child, but also the need for speech correction, the presence or absence of defects, the richness of the vocabulary, the level of speech activity of the child and many other linguistic, psychological and pedagogical aspects.
It has been established that a differentiated approach to the development of creativity in the process of preschoolers’ speech activity allows to take into account the level of speech development and language abilities, intentions, desires, individual characteristics of each child and stimulate these creative manifestations with a focus on his/her individuality.
Keywords: differentiation, individualization, differentiated approach, speech activity, creativity, preschooler.
