Abstract:
The article carries out a theoretical study of the future teacher’s readiness to use web technologies in pedagogical activities. The meaning of the concepts «readiness», «readiness for pedagogical activity» is revealed. The structure of the future teacher’s readiness to use web technologies in pedagogical activity is substantiated. We consider it as a set of four interconnected structural components filled with qualitative characteristics and indicators.
It was established that the motivational component of readiness expresses the conscious attitude of the future teacher to the use of web technologies in pedagogical activity; the content component combines the future teacher’s knowledge of the essence of web technologies and the specifics of their use in the pedagogical process; the operational component is based on a set of abilities and skills for using web technologies in the structure of pedagogical activity; the reflective component characterizes the teacher’s knowledge and analysis of the phenomena of his own consciousness and activity.
Indicators of a future teacher’s readiness to use web-technologies in pedagogical activities are disclosed: cognitive interest in web-technologies, ways and means of forming students’ information culture; personally significant content of the use of information technologies in pedagogical activity; the level of theoretical knowledge about educational information technologies and the peculiarities of their application in pedagogical activity; the level of formation of the system of technological skills necessary for the successful use of information technologies in pedagogical activities: gnostic, projective, constructive, organizational, communicative; formation of a reflective position, positive self-perception.
Three levels of readiness of the future teacher for the use of web technologies in pedagogical activity were revealed – elementary, functional, and systemic. We see the prospects for further research in the development of a model for preparing a future teacher for the use of web technologies in pedagogical activity.
