Abstract:
The article substantiates the importance of forming a healthy lifestyle of teenagers by means of extreme sports. Extreme sports support lifelong physical, social, psychological health and well-being, and in particular, the well-being of the planet. Extreme sports are presented as a fundamental aspect of human expression and the development of a healthy population and environment.
Formation of a healthy lifestyle of teenagers by means of extreme sports is a certain revolution of the idea of sports, physical exercises and physical activity; they have overtaken many traditional sports in terms of participation and impact, becoming a major global phenomenon with significant social and economic impact. physical activity has many health benefits.
It has been proven that involving a child in any kind of sport is a guarantee of physical health. Doing extreme sports is a great way to have fun while maintaining a healthy body.
Exercise is presented as a stress management technique common among teenagers, used to reduce stress, improve physical well-being and, in turn, improve mental well-being. The importance of regular aerobic exercise has been shown to reduce overall stress levels, elevate and stabilize mood, improve sleep (which in turn reduces stress), and improve self-esteem. Exercise and other physical activity produce endorphins, or chemicals in the brain that act as natural pain relievers. Even five minutes of aerobic exercise can boost anxiety and reduce stress.
Various types of extreme sports such as snowboarding, bungee jumping, mountain biking, rafting or climbing, etc., can trigger the body's «fight or flight"instinct, even if appropriate safety equipment is used and a trained guide or teacher. From a practice and policy perspective, the research on extreme sports participation suggests that we need to find ways to encourage teenagers to participate in competition and find ways to incorporate extreme sports into activities that improve health, education and participation. physical activity.
