Abstract:
The article reveals the problem of training future physical culture teachers to organize group interaction of students in competitive activities. The role of physical culture and sports, physical culture activity in all spheres of society, including education, is determined. It has been proven that each type of sport is characterized by: its competitive theme and the nature of student activity; the composition of exercises and the way they are carried out in competitive wrestling (technical and tactical skills); own competition rules. It was determined that competitive activity is the main institution of the social sports system.
The classification of the functions of competitive activity has been carried out. The primary functions include - determining the hierarchy of places of competition participants, ranking all competitors, finding the winner and prize-winners of the competition or fixing a record; secondary - standards, training, stimulation, self-assertion, entertainment, education, information, cognition, creativity, communication, modeling, control, agitation and propaganda, cultural exchange, entertainment, economy, international relations, physical exercises.
The specific features of competition as an integral attribute of sport, which distinguish it from other elements of sport, are determined. Specific features include: clear regulation of the activities of competition participants, service personnel and other persons; significant social and personal significance for each athlete of the competition process and sports results; maximum physical and mental stress caused by significant active emotions; granting the right to award sportsmen the titles «athlete of a certain rank», «master of sports», «master of sports of the world class» and «honored master of sports» if there are certain forms and requirements; direct or indirect interaction between competitors, in which each competitor can realize itself and oppose its competitors; clear regulation of the activities of rivals, service personnel and other persons.
The stages of competitive activity are defined: the first is the preparatory part («warm-up»), the second stage is the correction of the competition and competitive activity, the third is the analysis of competitive activity and further psychophysical recovery.
The significance of physical fitness as an integral component of the preparation of future physical culture teachers for the organization of group interaction of students in competitive activities and its types: general and special.
The concepts of «readiness to organize group interaction of students in competitive activities» and «competitive activity of students» are defined.
