Abstract:
The article examines the structural components of musical and auditory perceptions as an important prerequisite for general musical development and performance skills. It is noted that the system of music education in specialized institutions feels an urgent need for effective methods aimed at forming musical and auditory ideas of students primary school age. At the same time, it is emphasized that musical and auditory representations are an integrative entity that combines all types of musical hearing. After all, for a full-fledged performance of a musical work, ideas are necessary, which are related to the interpretation of a musical work and the differentiation of its sound texture. All of them together control the activity of musical hearing in a broad sense – the ability to understand, feel, emotionally experience the content of music, creating an artistic image of a musical work, and in a narrow sense – the ability to navigate in its acoustic plane.
Since musical and auditory representations belong to complex concepts, their formation is presented in the unity of emotional-reflexive, motivational, activity and creative-performance components. The formation of musical and auditory ideas of junior high school students according to these components should take place during the first years of education in three stages: emotional-developmental, musical-accumulating and performing-creative, each of which has its own goal and task. The ability to operate musical and auditory representations becomes the foundation of quality piano training and musical development of schoolchildren.
Keywords: younger schoolchildren; musical and auditory representations; learning to play the piano; musical and performing activities, performing skills.
