PREPARATION OF FUTURE TEACHERS IN TEACHING COLLEGES FOR PHYSICAL AND HEALTH TTA, SPORTS AND MASS WORK WITH STUDENTS

Abstract:
The article reveals the problems of training future teachers in pedagogical colleges for physical culture and health and sports mass work with students. Peculiarities of motor activity of pupils in institutions of general secondary education with a traditional motor mode were analyzed. It has been established that the active introduction of physical education into the educational process contributes to the formation of schoolchildren’s need for a healthy lifestyle, the formation of individual physical qualities, vital motor skills and skills that focus on learning about the peculiarities of one’s body and mastering the means of purposeful influence on one’s physical development preservation and strengthening of health, formation of the need for regular physical exercises and sports, physical self-improvement. The need to take into account the peculiarities of individual morpho-functional and psychological characteristics of children, the correspondence of the content of classes to the rhythms of the age-related development of children and youth, as well as to the fundamental laws of purposeful transformation of their physical potential is justified. It was revealed that the deterioration of the state of health of schoolchildren occurs due to psycho-emotional overload, insufficient physical activity both in the family and in institutions of general secondary education, as well as due to the low level of literacy of physical education teachers in matters of physical education of students.
The reasons for insufficient preparation of future physical culture teachers for physical culture and health and sports and mass work have been established ignorance of their functions in the field of physical education of schoolchildren; weak methodical and practical preparation for organizing and conducting physical culture and health and sports and mass work with students; lack of knowledge of directive documents on physical education of school-age children. The reasons for the insufficient preparation of future teachers in the field of physical education of schoolchildren have been identified, the difficulties they may face during the implementation of various forms of physical culture and health and sports mass work, which lie in the peculiarities of the traditional approach to their training in pedagogical colleges, have been identified.
