Abstract:
The article provides a comprehensive assessment of the formation of the cultural and artistic environment of Bukovyna and Chernivtsi, the capital of the Crown Duchy of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The influence of worldfamous composers, musicians and powerful people on the process of the birth of communicative practices among the high society of Bukovyna in the 19th century was analyzed. The practice of using salon music, the introduction of the governorship institute in wealthy landowning families, the establishment of musical societies, as components of the formation of musical education and the development of intercultural communication through the means of musical art, are considered. The features of the embodiment of European romanticism processes in Bukovina are shown through the prism of the study of the region’s composers K. Mikuli, S. Vorobkevych of the musical folklore and folk creativity of the region. Materials from the literary works of the famous Bukovyna composer and writer of the 19th century were used to reproduce the color and character of the folk music-lautar Nikolay Piku. Sydor Vorobkevych and the modern novelist, local historian of Bukovyna, Heorhiy Bota. Thanks to the upbringing of professional composers, each of whom became an ornament of the musical art of the region, we are proud of a unique cultural and artistic heritage, which rightfully occupies one of the important places in the Ukrainian and European space.
Today, there are still many unopened pages of the musical and cultural and artistic life of Chernivtsi in the 19th century. No published vocal and piano compositions of Bukovyna amateur composers, who, although they received a thorough musical education, did not practice music as a profession, but found in it their intuitive, emotional and valuable expression.
Keywords: communicative practices, secular society of Bukovyna, salon music making, musical and cultural communication.
