Abstract:
One of the most famous and popular genres of musical art of Ukraine is the folk song – a treasury of human spirituality, covering the heart, mind, emotions and feelings. It reflects the worldview of the Ukrainian people, their aesthetic ideals and moral and ethical values, the centuries-old experience of educating young people, because the younger generation is the future of our country, for which we are obliged to find the lost pages of history, in particular the song. The powerful potential of Ukrainian folk song creates conditions for the development of artistic consciousness, broadens one’s horizons, and promotes the development of creative abilities. These and other conditions are the foundation of the professional activity of future presentations of artistic disciplines.
Ukrainian folk song is an important means of musical-aesthetic and patriotic education of future teachers of art disciplines. After all, the song, due to its specific feature and uniqueness, through purposeful and systematic influence, helps to form a worldview, moral qualities, and spiritual culture. In the process of learning, the attitude of students to the Ukrainian folk song should acquire as much aesthetic orientation as possible. It is clear that the Ukrainian folk song has always been the main component of the people’s culture.
It was in the folk songs that preserved the characteristic features of the ethnic group – rites, beliefs, peculiarities of the language and other manifestations of national identity. Since the question of studying Ukrainian folk songs and determining their role for musical-aesthetic and patriotic education of future teachers of art disciplines is relevant, it needs further research. The following research methods are used in the article: comparative, genre, stylistic, historical analysis method.
Ukrainian folk song is an important means of musical-aesthetic and patriotic education of future teachers of art disciplines. Musical-aesthetic and patriotic education helps to perceive, understand and feel music more deeply, to be attentive to the surrounding world. An important tool is the Ukrainian folk song – part of the musical culture of the Ukrainian people, which reflects aesthetic, ethical, moral and value orientations. It is characterized by meaningfulness of life, great emotional saturation, vivid expressiveness. Constant communication with folk songs gives future teachers aesthetic pleasure, shapes their spiritual world, and develops emotional sensitivity.
