Abstract:
The professional competence of future managers of socio-cultural activities is determined by their orientation to cultural-artistic and cultural-educational activities with a certain category of participants and implies the presence of public communication skills, a set of organizational relationships outlined by certain socio-cultural activities, improvisation and creative self-expression. This requires future managers of socio-cultural activities to have methodological and theoretical knowledge, mastery of organizational forms and methods of building management actions, possible ways and means of achieving the set goal. Thus, the unity of methodological, theoretical and technological knowledge combined with practical experience give birth to and accumulate abilities and skills, as well as professional experience as the basis of professional skill.
The personality quality important for many of its carriers is considered self-doubt which prevents the full implementation industrial and household social and interpersonal types of interaction. Such aspects of the problem are analized as the causes of their occurrence, wich the purpose of further development of the suitable methodical system of limiting the influence or overcoming, typical external forms of functioning, as well as some ways, forms, metods and means of avoiding and getting rid of this defect taking into account individual psychological, physiological and age charact eristics.
Self-doubt is additionally strengthened, sometimes moving from the stage of normative to the stage of accentuation. Awareness of previous mistakes, dissatisfaction with life or professional achievements, inability to reach a long-standing important goal, wasted time and opportunities leave an imprint on the psycho-emotional sphere, mood, relationships with others, behavioral and business activity. A significant amount of time spent in an atmosphere of humiliation, disrespect, physical and moral punishment forms a natural reaction in the form of behavioral caution, unpreparedness for decisive actions, insecurity in one’s views, opinions and positions. Lack of education or industrial qualification, lack of acquired knowledge, skills and abilities, lost opportunities for desired career growth, undeveloped personality traits, periodic memories of potential responsibility for committed immoral or illegal actions, etc. also often provoke self-doubt.
Self-doubt as a personality quality, character trait is a significant flaw that can deprive a person of the joys of life for a long time. It has a number of both subjective and objective reasons. Among them are individual psychosomatic defects, unwillingness to correct the features of the dominant melancholic temperament, underdevelopment of willpower and intellectual abilities, personal general cultural backwardness, inconsistency of formal education with the actual level of education, insufficient professionalism, disagreement and rejection of one’s own appearance, unfavorable microsocial environment, negative life experience.
