Abstract:
The article is devoted to the problem of understanding the role of Ukrainian folk song in the world space. The peculiarities of the development of Ukrainian song on a global scale are revealed, based on the analysis of the historical stages of the development of Ukrainian singing, the activities of creative personalities of different eras. Representatives of world culture, such as J. Herder, F. Bodenstadt, J. Bogoslov, J. Bach, L. Beethoven, W. Mozart and others, were fascinated by Ukrainian folk song creativity. Outstanding composers D. Bortnyanskyi, M. Berezovskyi, A. Vedel, M. Lysenko, K. Stetsenko, M. Leontovych, S. Hulak- Artemovskyi and others based. The authors analyze the work of leading groups and soloists, who perform Ukrainian folk songs on the international stage nowadays. The importance of Ukrainian song in the process of art education is confirmed by realized projects such as «Live Melodies of the Village», «Secrets of Ukrainian Singing», «Museum of Live Song», «Save the of Your Grandmother’s Language and Culture», «Museum of Ukrainian Song» and others. The significant role of the Ukrainian song in the presentation of the state of Ukraine, in the understanding of the history of the nation, in the importance of conveying to the youth its belonging to the multifaceted culture and the people, is emphasized. Ukrainian song culture occupies an important place in the world space, which is confirmed by the ancient history of the national singing art and its talented representatives. An overview of the main stages of the formation of Ukrainian folk song from a folk-household form of music making to highly professional ones allows us to conclude that folk song creativity was, is and will be the main basis for the creation of new artistic works, but at the same time, it is important to preserve its natural purity and uniqueness. The task of art education is to focus on the best examples of Ukrainian singing and to introduce high-quality folklore material into the educational process. The significant role of the Ukrainian song in the presentation of the state of Ukraine, in understanding the history of the nation, in the importance of conveying to the youth its belonging to the multifaceted culture and the people who sang and continue to sing, setting an example to the world, is emphasized. The problem of the influence of Ukrainian folk song on the development of the folklore heritage of the peoples of Europe requires greater research in the process of cultural dialogue.
