Active teaching methods have been developed for the formation of professional readiness of future primary school teachers for conducting physical education lessons – the use of educational cards, block diagrams and didactic games. It has been proven that these methods contribute to the development of attention; manifestation of all types of memory: visual, auditory, verbal-logical, motor, tactile. It was established that specific and general pedagogical methods of physical education are used in the process of physical education. The use of game and competitive forms of organization of students’ motor activity (typical for games and sports) and special methods of methodically accurate regulation (organization, arrangement) that allow for purposeful solving of certain tasks of teaching movements and development of motor skills are substantiated. Three types of specific methods of physical education are offered: methods of clearly regulated exercise, game and competitive methods.
