Abstract:
The article reveals the principles and content of experimental training of philology students in the direction of realizing the idea of value attitude to the Ukrainian language. An experimental verification of the methodical system (principles, purpose, content, ways and methods) of formation of philology students’ value attitude towards the Ukrainian (native) language and the ability to use means of representation of the «native language» concept was developed and carried out. The experimental training, which consisted of a series of classes, was based on the following principles: the methodological context of the formation of a valuable attitude to language and learning the language means of its manifestation, genre-oriented training, the cultural context during the examination of linguistic phenomena. The basic concepts of the program are defined. The groups of actions necessary for the formation of the ability of applicants to work according to the program of experimental training have been revealed. Groups of methods were used: verbal transmission and auditory perception of information (teacher’s message, conversation); visual transmission and visual perception of educational information (compilation of tables, demonstration of schemes); transfer of educational information in the form of practical actions (performance of tasks of an analytical nature: analysis of texts, analysis of samples of the professional language of Ukrainian language teacher); of a constructive nature (tasks for constructing texts or individual parts from given elements, tasks for independent production of texts, tasks for interpreting the original text in another form, etc.). Didactic material, teaching methods and techniques were selected at various stages of program implementation, at each lesson. Experimental work was carried out to check the methodological system and it was established that before its beginning, most of the participants did not have the necessary knowledge and relevant skills related to the implementation of the idea of value attitude to the language, since there was no purposeful work in this direction. A positive result of the application of the developed methodology was established. An experimental verification of the methodical system (principles, purpose, content, means and methods) of formation of philology students’ value attitude towards the Ukrainian (native) language and the ability to use means of representation of the «native language» concept was developed and carried out. As a result of experimental training, future philology teachers got acquainted with the components of the content of the «native language» concept; got an idea about different means of expressing the idea of \u200b\u200bvaluing language and the possibilities of their use in professional activity; got acquainted with the peculiarities of the use of rhetorical techniques in the language of the teacher in various educational and speech situations and in various pedagogical genres.
