Abstract:
The article examines the peculiarities of the adaptation of student youth to physical education in the conditions of the educational environment of higher education institutions. After all, during their studies, the foundations of professionalism are formed and laid in students, readiness for continuous self-education in constantly changing conditions is developed. It was established that the problems of experiences and adaptation of first-year students to physical education can be explained not only by the low level of physical training of young people during school, but also by the fact that young people are not prepared for such important factors that they encounter when entering higher education institutions. such as willingness to learn, ability to learn independently, control and evaluate oneself, coexistence in the learning environment and problem solving in critical situations. The student is unable to solve all these aspects of his own life on his own, which is why experiences and stresses arise that negatively affect his adaptation in the educational process of higher education. Difficulties in the adaptation of first-year students of higher education institutions to physical education and the negative impact of experiences were determined, their causes were clarified, and suggestions were made to make the adaptation successful. Based on the obtained data, it was determined that the main reasons are: low level of teaching physical education in schools, young people do not lead a healthy lifestyle, low level of physical fitness, insufficient involvement of young people in mass sports events, low level of sports competitions, weak infrastructure with physical education, communication problems. In the dynamics of experiences of first-year students, we can note 3 phases: anxiety, alertness, increased excitement when joining a new team; resistance (adaptation) – reaction, adaptation of the body to physical exertio; the relationship between the heads of physical education and students. Also, the majority of students indicated that teachers should take into account the following aspects in order to facilitate the adaptation of students to physical education: the individual capabilities of the student, take into account the growth of the effectiveness of his own indicators, and not the statistical average, and evaluate the student accordingly; find an individual approach, differentiate tasks and workload according to the individual capabilities of each student; to cut off the ridicule of comrades regarding the physical development of fellow students; more widely carry out campaigning work, promotion of healthy lifestyle; to hold more sports and mass events, to encourage students to lead a healthy lifestyle.
