Abstract:
Comprehension of the presented scientific views on the essence of the methodical culture of the teacher allows us to assert that it is an integrative personal formation, which represents a dialectical unity of the value relationship to the domestic and foreign experience of vocal-pedagogical activity, competence in the field of theory and methods of vocal teaching, and the capacity for creative self-realization in vocal – pedagogical activity.
The analysis of theoretical approaches to the definition of the concept of «methodical culture» showed that in the scientific-pedagogical community this concept is interpreted ambiguously, there is no single approach to defining the essence of a teacher’s methodical culture.
The phenomenon we are studying is defined as a certain structure in the professional training of a teacher; as a necessary set of methodical knowledge, abilities, skills and personal qualities; as a certain complex of methodical knowledge, methodical thinking, personal qualities, where the leading role is given to moral and psychological qualities.
Understanding the presented scientific views on the essence of the methodical culture of the teacher allows us to state that the methodical culture arises in the bosom of the pedagogical culture and manifests itself as a formation that unites the theory and practice of the culture of the professional activity of a teacher of a higher school. That is, the methodical culture of the teacher is an integrative characteristic of the general and professional culture of the teacher, and in the dialectic of the special and the individual, the methodical culture functions as a subsystem of the methodical culture of society and as a type of professional culture.
The specified integral and personal education characterizes the methods of activity of future teachers on the basis of acquired theoretical knowledge, formed skills and experience of methodical activity for adequate self-realization in future professional activity. That is, future teachers of solo singing with a formed methodical culture are ready to solve vocal-performance and vocal-pedagogical tasks, to create constructive relationships in the educational environment. We also consider it appropriate to note that the term «formed» can take on a finished form of action only for a certain period of the teacher’s professional activity, since, for example, pedagogical technologies are constantly updated and, accordingly, the criteria for the levels of their understanding and mastery change.
Keywords: culture, methodical culture, methodical culture of the future teacher of solo singing.
