Abstract:
The article examines the motivation of future specialists in the field of «Culture and Art» of higher education institutions regarding the formation of digital competencies. The author clarified the essence of the main definitions of the study, namely: motivation, digital technologies, digital literacy, digital culture, competence, digital competence. The motives of internal motivation, external positive motivation and external negative motivation are characterized.
It has been proven that such motivational conditions are important for the successful mastery of ICT, such as: creating a favorable comfortable environment, the need to achieve primacy, creating a situation of success, internal activity, impulsivity, the use of non-traditional methods and forms of training organization and the introduction of activity monitoring, the possibility of creative and professional growth, participation in creative projects and international cultural, educational and artistic programs, master classes and concert performances.
Based on the results of the conducted research, it became obvious that such motivational conditions as: creation of a favorable comfortable environment in ICT classes, motivation of students with positive attitudes, praise, opportunities for further creative growth; creating a situation of success for students in ICT classes, which enables the development and increase of learning motivation; the need to achieve primacy, the desire to work successfully and be better at mastering ICT, to achieve authority and respect, a sense of freedom, one’s own value and dignity; internal activity in the application of ICT and sustainable motivation to meet the needs of training in the use of digital technologies; impulsiveness, which causes a state of dissatisfaction with the results of ICT implementation activities, and the satisfaction of one need opens the way to another; application of non-traditional methods and forms of training organization and implementation of activity monitoring of future specialists in the field of «Culture and Art» in practical classes and in the process of independent work; the possibility of creative and professional growth, participation in creative projects and international cultural, educational and artistic programs, master classes, concert performances using computer programs for visualization of stage effects.
