Abstract:
This study aims to analyse the advantages and challenges of generative artificial intelligence in the training of graphic design specialists and to gain an insight into its impact on teaching and learning. We aim to provide educators, students, and other stakeholders with valuable information that will help make the graphic design learning process more motivating and innovative. By leveraging the potential benefits of artificial intelligence in education, we focus on how it can stimulate students’ creative thinking, provide a personalised learning experience, and optimise the positive impact on the teaching and learning process.
On the other hand, we also analyse the possible challenges that participants in the pedagogical process may face when studying graphic design, such as the speed of technological updates, the need for professional development of teaching staff, data privacy protection, compliance with integrity principles, etc. By studying these issues in depth, we aim to offer effective solutions that will help educators better integrate artificial intelligence technologies, fully realise their potential, and overcome potential barriers in order to promote the development of innovative approaches to learning, improve the practical experience of students, and adapt the industry to the challenges and opportunities of the artificial intelligence era.
The use of AI to support the learning process opens up new innovative opportunities in education, but on the other hand, it raises another discussion regarding the reduction of the digital divide and ensuring the widespread distribution of AI resources in different regions in accordance with the principle of equal education. In addition, given the large amounts of data and information generated by AI, educators need to consider issues of data privacy and security to prevent its use for improper gain.
