Abstract:
In the article, the authors consider the nature of articulation both in the acting profession and in vocal and choral performance, emphasizing the close relationship and integration of acting and vocal articulation techniques. In the article, the authors present the anatomical structure of the articulation apparatus and propose a set of practical exercises aimed at optimizing its functional capabilities, providing practical exercises for the development and improvement of the quality of articulation in the work of masters of musical art.
The use of acting articulation techniques in the vocal and choral work of Masters of Music can significantly enrich the educational process, introducing an interdisciplinary approach to the development of performing skills. The integration of acting techniques aimed at improving articulation, breathing, voice projection and stage presence will contribute not only to improving the technical quality of choral singing, but also to expanding the expressive capabilities of future musicians. This will allow Masters to more deeply understand the relationship between text, music and stage action, forming a more holistic and emotionally rich performance, which is important for their further professional realization as leaders of choral groups, teachers and performers.
Modern trends in musical performance practice increasingly emphasize the synthesis of different types of arts. Vocalists and choral groups increasingly perform in complex stage productions, where an important role is played not only by vocal skill, but also by acting, facial expressions and gestures. In this regard, mastery of acting articulation techniques is becoming an integral part of the professional competence of future masters of musical art. The ability to convey a text to the listener not only phonetically correct, but also emotionally colored, is the key to creating a convincing artistic image and a deep emotional connection with the audience.
Keywords: articulation, vocal and choral art, acting, masters of musical art.
