Abstract:
The article analyzes approaches to the definition of the concept of «methodological competence» from the point of view of various theoretical and methodological approaches to solving research scientific problems (personal-activity, system-structural, cognitive, cultural, etc.). The author’s interpretation of the concept of «methodological competence» of future specialists in the socionomic sphere in the process of professional training is presented.
Methodological competence is studied as an integrative characteristic of the personality of specialists in the socionomic sphere, reflecting the system level of mastery of methodical knowledge, the ability to diagnose the results of achieving the goals of social interaction, design methods and technologies, select innovative content and master innovative technologies, and monitor the results.
The main components of the phenomenon, socio-pedagogical conditions and means of forming methodological competence are determined. The content of methodical competence, which includes both analytical, reflective, motivational, prognostic skills and skills of a future specialist in the socionomic sphere, as well as practical, organizational, and communicative skills, is defined. There are certain ways of forming methodological competence, which include self-education, scientific research, and mutual learning. The structure of methodical competence is analyzed, which includes the following elements: methodical thinking, methodical culture and methodical creativity.
It is concluded that the main features of methodological competence are: the ability to develop, choose and apply appropriate methods for solving social problems that arise in the process of professional activity of socionomists, as well as the ability to analyze one’s own activities and plan changes in order to improve them.
