Abstract:
The article analyzes some theoretical aspects of the problem of formation of national identity of pupils in the environment of extracurricular education in the measurement of methodological approaches. The importance of pedagogical education as one of the leading drivers in education, a powerful means of transforming consciousness and behavior of children, the importance of preserving national identity, spiritual integrity of society, Ukrainian culture, development of science, education is updated.
It has been found that the process of formation of national identity of pupils in the conditions of out-of-school should be carried out in the plane of the following methodological approaches: systemic, axiological, cultural and personality-oriented. It is substantiated that the implementation of a systematic approach in the plane of the disturbed problem implies the complexity and integrity of national-patriotic education and national identification of pupils in the conditions of out-ofschool, establishing mechanisms of the designated phenomenon and its various connections as an educational environment that has the necessary methodological tools for the formation of a personality.
It is extracurricular education institutions as public institutions for students to acquire additional knowledge, development of skills, create favorable conditions for educational influence on the formation of consciousness, value orientations of student youth, first of all, by means of circle work. It is established that the growth of the role of the cultural approach is due to the orientation of modern education on the humanization of the educational process, the interconnection of education and culture, the evolution of education from the education of a "educated person" to the education of «cultural man».
The use of a personally oriented approach in the UFTRACE environment aims the process of national-patriotic education on the child’s personality as a purpose, result and decisive criterion of its effectiveness. It is generalized that taking into account the key positions of separated methodological approaches makes it possible to comprehend the process of national-patriotic education and the formation of national identity of pupils in the out-of-school environment.
