CIVIC AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AS TOOLS FOR IMPROVING PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS IN THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS IN THE KINGDOM OF NORWAY

Abstract:
The article is aimed at studying theoretical approaches to the implementation of the ideas of civic and inclusive education, their practical implementation in the educational programmes of universities in the Kingdom of Norway and their impact on the professional development of future teachers. In particular, the issues of integration of civic education into educational and professional training programmes for students of pedagogical specialities, the role of teachers in this process and the impact on the formation of critical thinking, social competencies and the ability to work in an inclusive educational environment are studied.
An analysis of the University of Oslo’s educational programmes and scientific literature has shown that civic education in Norway promotes the development of critical thinking, social responsibility and democratic values in future teachers. These skills are fundamental for the successful performance of their professional duties, as well as for the effective education of students as active and responsible citizens. It is stated that the University of Oslo integrates civic education into educational programmes through an interdisciplinary approach, the use of modern technologies and the practical application of the acquired knowledge. This approach allows future teachers not only to master the principles of democracy, human rights and global citizenship theoretically, but also to implement them in their pedagogical practice. Attention is paid to the use of digital tools in teaching civic education through the use of social media and other online platforms to encourage students to participate in civic life. This aspect is particularly important in the modern world, where digital citizenship is becoming increasingly relevant.
The content of specific curricula shows that civic education contributes to the formation of future primary school teachers not only professional knowledge, but also important social competencies necessary for effective work in a multicultural, dynamic and inclusive educational environment.
