Abstract:
The article is devoted to an important and significant issue – the training of qualified high-level specialists who are capable of effectively leading various cultural institutions, from a specialized library to a large multi-component Center for Culture and Arts and beyond, based on their level of education and personal qualities.
The participation of the future leader’s personality in this process at the level of selfimprovement and self-development is crucial and significantly increases the expected result. Professionally necessary character traits, knowledge, skills and abilities become the result of systematic training within the walls of a specialized educational institution.
The history of world culture, practical cultural and educational activities of the past and present, and socio-cultural activities of the present, contains a wealth of information about how, in what way, with whose help and participation people organized their free time at different stages. Regardless of a person’s attitude to work, his role and degree of employment in labor processes, everyone has some free time – leisure. Usually, a person worries in advance about spending it interestingly and meaningfully with the benefit of the soul and body, for mental and somatic health.
Training of a specialist of this level and content of personality is carried out in higher educational institutions of the cultural direction. Within the framework of a number of specialties, specialists in socio-cultural activities, administration, management in various branches of culture are trained. As in any educational matter, in order to ensure the prospects and success of graduates, competitiveness and reliability of their diplomas, appropriate organizational and pedagogical conditions are necessary.
