Abstract:
Development of musical hearing of students of arts faculties based on the study of Ukrainian musical folklore: a toolkit. The article examines the problem of practical development of musical hearing and several of its varieties, based on the dynamic-processual nature of its improvement in the process of professional training of students of arts faculties.
It has been established that the practical solution to the problem of developing and improving the musical hearing of students of arts faculties is effective on the basis of pedagogical tools developed on the basis of the material of Ukrainian musical folklore due to the emotional and mental intonation proximity of its samples to Ukrainian students, as well as the ease and ease of vocal and choral performance. Harmonic hearing is characterized as basic in terms of the possibility of developing other types of musical hearing on its basis.
An integrated pedagogical toolkit for the development of harmonic, melodic and timbral varieties of musical hearing, based on the material of Ukrainian folk songs, is presented, which includes methods of vocal-choral practice, oral interval-harmonic analysis of the score, alternating instrumental and vocal reproduction of the melodic line, reading from a sheet, verbal method of oral timbral analysis of samples of Ukrainian musical folklore, combined with the method of their demonstration, method timbral-dynamic exercise.
The perspective of using Ukrainian folk polyphony for further methodical developments regarding the development of polyphonic and architectural varieties of musical hearing is indicated.
