Abstract:
A review of the challenges that appeared with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and intensified during the period of a full-scale invasion by Russia of the territory of Ukraine in 2022. The main attention is focused on the key components that are relevant in the education system - and these are the principles, methods and approaches in the educational process that have undergone transformation as a result of the above-mentioned challenges. Flexibility, self-organization and selfimprovement of objects and subjects of the educational process have become basic priorities in the today’s realities. Since modern pupils, students and pedagogues are forced to be flexible and be able to adapt to conditions of varying complexity, the main focus is concentrated on information and communication technologies (hereinafter - ICT), as an actual instrumetn of the mentioned challenges and in the context of the formation of a common world information space. The quality of information and communication support is a determining factor in the evolutionary development of the state and society.
Therefore, on the agenda is the development and implementation of electronic instruments and platforms in the educational process of educational institutions, as method of styuding of basic and special disciplines, based on person-oriented education, capable of providing high-quality training for future specialists.
Today, we have a number of preconditions that lead to the introduction of ICT in the educational process: online learning; training in several shifts; change in standard modes and pace of training due to massive shelling; power outages; a constant threat to human health and life, in connection with the war in Ukraine.
The article reveals the essence of ICT, and also raises the question of the peculiarities of their introduction and use in the educational process. The issue of the motivational component on the use of ICT by participants in the educational process is analyzed.
