Abstract:
The article defines the essence of mathematical broadcasting as a set of all speech means, through which mathematical content can be expressed. Analysis of professional sources and theoretical justification of the problem of forming mathematical broadcasting of junior schoolchildren is carried out. Research attention is paid to the ordering of scientific terminology for the formation of mathematical broadcasting of younger students in the process of developing modern textbooks of primary school. These requirements determine certain tasks and expectations from Ukrainian textbooks aimed at meeting new educational challenges.
In Theoretical parts analyzed the correctness of the use of generally accepted scientific terminology in modern textbooks on primary school mathematics.
In the methodical part, the authors of tutorials of proposals for elimination of terminological errors in order to form mathematical broadcasting of junior schoolchildren and proposed methodical recommendations for improving logical and didactical approaches to studying programmatic mathematical concepts in elementary school.
From the above-mentioned article, it follows that the correct attitude to the linguistic aspects of the presentation of educational material is of paramount importance both when formulating mathematical concepts and relations and when using them in practical activities. Each term has a clearly defined meaning and requires its adequate use. Its free interpretation forms a distorted understanding of the content of objects of knowledge in students, creates significant obstacles in the development of mathematical speech. A mandatory condition for the formation of students’ mathematical speech is the use of scientific terminology to understand the content of new terms. During the formation of subject-specific mathematical competence of schoolchildren, it is necessary to focus on scientific approaches to their study of mathematical terminology.
