Abstract:
The article describes the experience of training future primary school teachers of the Drahomanov Ukrainian State University in the organisation and effective application of educational process management technologies in the New Ukrainian School in general and in primary school in particular.
The article highlights the thematic content of the educational component «Organisation and Management of the Educational Process in the New Ukrainian School» and the programme learning outcomes taught at the first (bachelor's) level. The main attention is focused on the topics «Theoretical foundations of the New Ukrainian School management» and «Planning and organisation of the educational process in primary school».
The thematic areas of the course «Technologies of Educational Process Management in Primary School», which is offered to students at the second (master's) level, are revealed: «Theoretical foundations of modern primary school management», «Planning and organisation of the educational process in primary school», «Monitoring and self-monitoring in the educational process of the New Ukrainian School». Particular research attention is paid to the last module, as its study will contribute to the implementation of the programme learning outcome PLO 6 «Ability to monitor own pedagogical activity, determine individual professional needs and prospects, evaluate the performance of teams and collectives», provided by the Standard of higher education of the second (master's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 01 Education/Pedagogy, speciality A3 (013) «Primary Education».
The effectiveness of methods from different groups of interactive technologies is emphasized: cooperative learning, collective group learning, situational modelling (role-playing situations), working on discussion issues (taking/changing positions, discussion, continuous scale of opinions), project and contextual learning technologies for the formation of relevant components of students' professional competencies.
The article reviews the content of the undergraduate practice of masters in terms of developing their skills: to analyse the classroom management of primary school teachers in the context of the effectiveness of the technologies, techniques, methods of classroom management chosen by them; to study the functions and content of the activities of the head teacher of primary school; to analyse the educational environment of an educational institution through the prism of using partnership pedagogy and management technologies.
