Abstract:
In the article, the author theoretically substantiates the classifications and provides definitions of the functional characteristics of modern institutions of the socio-cultural industry in Ukraine.
Based on the analysis of scientific literature, it was determined that socio-cultural activity as a specific, socially expedient activity of professional and non-professional subjects (people, social groups, society as a whole), aimed at the creative development of the individual and serving their cultural needs, the production of cultural innovations, the preservation, dissemination, use and further development of cultural values is an integral part of social life.
The analysis of regulatory legal acts proved that modern socio-cultural institutions, whose activities are aimed at the creation, dissemination, preservation, development and mastering of cultural values, function in accordance with current legislation and are classified according to various criteria. The basic network includes institutions of state and municipal ownership, institutions of the national and local levels – municipal institutions.
In connection with the processes of decentralization, cultural service centers are formed in territorial communities. Since 2019, the concept of creative industries has been introduced in Ukraine. In addition, the infrastructure of the socio-cultural sphere is classified by the result of activity, by method or by types of economic activity, etc.
Analysis of scientific literature made it possible to conclude that individual researchers offer their own classifications – subsystems of the socio-cultural sphere (institutional, activity and technological), a set of components (educational-economic and health-economic), zoning of sociocultural space by the historically formed level of socio-economic interests of the population, etc.
The author notes that traditional and innovative approaches are used in socio-cultural institutions. Innovative approaches include project activities and participation in state and non-state grant programs for the purpose of financing and implementing projects, searching for alternative sources of financing for cultural initiatives, as well as the use of remote forms of work involving digital and information and communication technologies– holding events in an online format.
Keywords: socio-cultural activity, socio-cultural industry, creative product, creative industry, project activity, grant activity, management.
