Abstract:
The article analyzes some theoretical aspects of the problem of developing the innovative position of preschool teachers in postgraduate education. Clarifications are made regarding the content essence of the key concept of «position». The interdisciplinarity, ambiguity, and multicontextuality of the definition of the concept of «position» in scientific discourse are emphasized. It is emphasized that the innovative position of the teacher is closely related to the professional position, which has different contexts: pedagogical-personal, which is manifested in the teacher’s work with children and is expressed in professional actions, determined by the individual attitude towards each specific child; professional-pedagogical, which determines the expression by the teacher through the position of his cultural development, goals of activity, aspirations to carry out effective work, to develop as a creative personality.
The innovative position of a teacher is interpreted as an integrative characteristic of his personality, reflecting the innovative orientation of the teacher (interests, value orientations, needs related to the implementation of innovations), his attitude towards innovations and their implementation in the educational process, which determines the nature of innovative behavior and the role of the teacher in innovative professional activity.
The potential of postgraduate pedagogical education in the area of the raised problem is emphasized, which is associated with the orientation towards solving such promising educational tasks: mastering modern information and communication technologies by pedagogical workers, familiarization with the positive experience of others, development and protection of individual innovative projects, which helps the individual not to remain aloof from modern innovative processes, but to become an active designer of his own projects, involving current experience, technologies, personal capabilities.
