Abstract:
The article argues the importance of the formation and development of managerial competency in future physical education and sports specialists for the possibility of making effective decisions in appropriate circumstances when performing official duties. It is proven that the formation of managerial competencу is influenced by integrated information and communication technologies, specific technological tools and approaches to their use, which are manifested in the information and technological, digital and media literacy of education seekers.
The article considers the definition of "approach" and identifies and meaningfully fills with meaningful approaches to learning for our research. The following approaches are characterized: competency-based (focuses on the combination of knowledge, skills, abilities and personal qualities necessary for the successful integration of information and communication technologies into the sphere of physical culture and sports), personality-oriented (increases motivation, adapts the educational process to personal needs and capabilities), system-activity-oriented (orients the educational process towards acquiring practical skills in the use of innovative pedagogical technologies), constructive (activates the creation of one’s own knowledge through interaction with digital technologies), interdisciplinary (combines knowledge from different disciplines), problemoriented (allows one to work on real pedagogical and managerial problems), axiological (focuses on the moral and ethical aspects of using information and communication technologies in education), acmeological (offers the implementation of professional growth of the individual through selfknowledge, self-actualization, self-realization and self-development).
It is concluded that theoretical approaches lead to the definition of a strategy for acquiring managerial competencу by future physical education and sports specialists and allow the teacher to comprehensively predict the acquisition by students of objective, professionally significant managerial knowledge, skills and abilities.
