Abstract:
The article reveals the problem of forming the readiness of a future teacher to manage the educational activities of students in a specialized school in a terminological aspect.
The analysis of the directions of forming the professional and pedagogical readiness of future teachers, the features of managing the educational activities of students in modern pedagogical theories and systems, the main qualitative characteristics of educational activities in the educational process confirms the opinion that to date, a significant scientific base has been formed, which creates theoretical prerequisites for forming the readiness of future teachers to manage the educational activities of students, taking into account the situation in modern education.
The essence of managing the educational activities of students as a special type of professional and pedagogical activity is revealed, associated with the teacher’s targeted influence on students in the process of planning, motivation, organization, control of educational activity, the formation of interpersonal communication to identify the predispositions, interests, inclinations, abilities of each, self-realization of internal potential and ensuring the necessary level of education. It has been established that the management of students’ educational activities aims to create conditions for their directed mastery of methods of cognition, learning, and self-education and is a function of the interaction between the teacher and the student, where the main result is the transfer of the student to the position of the subject of learning.
It has been proven that the readiness of future teachers to manage the educational activities of students in a specialized school is a holistic personal formation that integrates motivational and value (the presence of humanistically oriented communicative abilities and emotional and volitional qualities; introducing students to the world of universal human and educational values; assistance in choosing a personally significant system of value orientations) with basic and special knowledge, enriching students’ ideas about the essence, purpose and content of the process of managing the cognitive activity of schoolchildren, the regularities of forming a student’s subjective position in learning) and operational and activity (development of the ability to organize, support and develop joint educational activities and communication with students and collegues) components.
