Abstract:
The article deals with the peculiarities of forming the leadership competence of future specialists in preschool education in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine. The problem of training highly qualified teaching staff capable of acting effectively in crisis situations, taking into account modern social challenges, is actualised. Attention is focused on the new requirements for the professional activity of educators, in particular, their social, emotional and managerial functions. The article identifies the key challenges faced by preschool teachers: ensuring the emotional stability of children, working with Internally Displaced Person’s families, organising the educational process in times of crisis, developing stress resistance and introducing digital competencies. Particular attention is paid to the role of teachers in patriotic education, the formation of moral values and civic engagement in children. Changes in the training programmes for future educators in higher education institutions are analysed. The necessity of integrating disciplines aimed at developing crisis management skills, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, as well as practice-oriented learning in real-life conditions is emphasised. The article substantiates that the formation of leadership competence is a multifaceted process that combines pedagogical, social and psychological components. It is concluded that only an integrated approach to the training of pedagogical staff fully allows to ensure the effective development of preschool education in the complex conditions of modern society.
