Abstract:

The article reveals the theoretical foundations of the development of civil culture of aviation specialists.

The relevance of the problem is due to the fact that the system for the formation of civil culture of aviation specialists requires correction, the search for new guidelines and new opportunities for the development of future aviation specialists. The prospects for the development of our society depend on what generation we educate, what moral values and priorities will be adopted and assimilated by it. To do this, it is necessary to maximize the potential of the educational process in higher education institutions, while paying due attention to the civic self-education of students.

The problem of civic education of the individual in modern society is largely determined by the need for state educational institutions to train citizens of conscious law-abidingness, patriotic devotion to their state, free and honest adherence to generally accepted norms, to moral and cultural values when performing various functions, everyday, interethnic and interpersonal relations.

Civic culture is able to form in every person citizenship, civic duty, civic responsibility, as an integrative quality of the personality, expressing inner freedom, and respect for the Constitution and laws of the state, love for the native land, a sense of self-esteem and responsibility for actions, discipline, as well as a manifestation of patriotic feelings and humanism.
