Abstract:
In the article, the author considers the pedagogical aspects of the development of socio-cultural activities in Ukraine (the end of the ХХ-th - the first half of the ХХІ-st century).
Sociocultural activity, as a multifaceted phenomenon covering a wide range of interactions between an individual and society through the prism of culture, has always been in the focus of attention of educators, sociologists and culturologists. In Ukraine, especially at the turn of the ХХ-th and ХХІ-st centuries, this direction has undergone significant transformations due to socio-political changes, globalization processes and innovative educational approaches.
The author believes that the development of socio-cultural activities in Ukraine in the specified period was based on a number of theoretical concepts, among which one can highlight the concept of personally oriented education (emphasis on the development of creative abilities, independence, critical thinking and social responsibility of the individual; the concept of cultural education (emphasis on the need to familiarize with the cultural heritage of Ukraine and the world, the formation of respect for cultural diversity; the concept of inclusive education (creating conditions for full participation in the educational process of all children, regardless of their characteristics).
Based on the analysis of historical and pedagogical sources, the author concludes that despite achievements, the development of socio-cultural activities in Ukraine was accompanied by a number of problems, including insufficient funding, shortage of qualified personnel; insufficient integration of socio-cultural activities into the general educational process, etc.
The development of socio-cultural activities in Ukraine at the end of the ХХ-th and the beginning of the ХХІ-st century was a complex and controversial process. On the one hand, significant progress was made in democratizing and humanizing education, expanding access to cultural values. On the other hand, there were problems that needed to be solved. Despite the difficulties, socio-cultural activity remains an important direction of the development of Ukrainian society, as it contributes to the formation of a comprehensively developed personality capable of living in the modern world.
Sociocultural activity is considered as a dynamic process that takes place within the sociocultural space. This space is the result of the collaboration of material and spiritual values, which are constantly transformed under the influence of social, economic, political and technological changes.
Sociocultural activity is considered as a multifaceted phenomenon, covering a wide range of processes related to the socialization of the individual and its integration into the cultural context. The purpose of this activity is the expansion of individual opportunities and the formation of an active life position.
