Abstract:
The article examines the issue of the security of the educational space in the context of European integration processes. The problem of human security in the world is becoming more and more urgent. This is largely connected with the increase in the number of man-made and natural disasters, with large-scale social changes in society leading to the destruction of habitual stereotypes of behavior, with an increase in the volume of information flows and a general acceleration of the pace of life. All this violates the usual living conditions of people, frustrates the need for security and protection from adverse influences.
The article is devoted to current problems related to the specifics of the implementation of European integration processes in the Ukrainian education system. It is emphasized that currently the educational system of Ukraine is going through difficult times related to a number of external and internal factors, however, the course taken for European integration in all spheres of social life remains relevant in the educational dimension as well.
It was noted that the European integration choice made by the Ukrainian education system confirms the possibility of obtaining new perspectives aimed at cooperation and development. The structure of the national education system gets a chance to stimulate qualitative systemic changes, which include the mobility of resources, the expansion of the space of education with the acquisition of intercultural features, bringing Ukrainian education in line with European requirements, as well as a clear response to the needs of the labor market. This inspires the formation of a new, much higher than the current level of education, as well as raising the level of the teaching system itself through the transformation of value orientations, which are carried by teachers and methodologists
