As an official Bicycle Friendly University (BFU), the UIC campus integrates Chicago’s on-street bike network and has bike parking at nearly every campus building. Several on-campus Divvy stations provide convenient transportation for getting around on campus or commuting from downtown train stations.
Cook County Legal Aid for Housing and Debt (CCLAHD) is a county-wide initiative providing free legal assistance to residents facing eviction, foreclosure, consumer debt, and tax deed issues. Through our two major programs, we offer comprehensive support to renters, landlords, homeowners, and anyone dealing with debt challenges—at no cost to you.
The Pro Bono Litigation Clinic provides pro bono legal representation to qualified individuals. Pro bono means that clients do not have to pay fees for the legal services provided. The Pro Bono Litigation Clinic represents clients in a wide variety of practice areas, including but not limited to:
