There are number of risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) including APOE, sex, aging, and peripheral inflammation. Our goal is to determine how these risk factors alter learning and memory in AD relevant models alone, and in combination. We believe that identifying the trajectory of alterations in AD-relevant pathology, and how they are modified by risk factors, is important for understanding and treating AD.
