I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago.
My research is supported by a National Science Foundation Research Grant "Model Theory, Geometric Structures and Special Functions".
I was the 2023-2024 American Mathematical Society Centennial fellow.
I am currently advising two PhD students: Ryan Carpenter and John Solak.
Former students: Yutong Duan (University of Waterloo in Fall 2026)
I am originally from Mauritius, a small island nation off the southeast coast of the African continent.
