ACADEMIC CULTURE: HEC Liège is part of a public university with a long-standing tradition of fundamental research. This research is deeply connected to its academic programs. To ensure a successful experience, students are expected to have a solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, economics, and finance.
COURSE PREREQUISITES: Course prerequisites provide essential information about the course level and expectations. Students must demonstrate that they meet these requirements by completing a specific form after their nomination.
Except for some ERAS course codes, the courses offered for exchange students are part of programs for degreeseeking students.
Students should ensure that they select the courses adequately based on the information below.
Students should also ensure that they are able to attend all classes (check online schedule in the course description).
Course division:
• Undergraduate courses are open to students with max. 3 years of university education in Business/Management or Economics
• Undergraduate/Graduate courses are open to students with min. 2 years of education in Business/Management or Economics.
• Graduate courses are open to students with min. 3 years of university education in Business/Management or Economics
• Advanced Graduate courses are open to senior students with a major in specialization. However, approval from the professor should be ensured before the selection
• Some courses have a limited number of seats. Acceptance will be approved by the professor.
• For special course requests, please contact HEC advisor Muriel Bequet, who will advise.
Course selection will be adapted if necessary. Schedules are available in the course description.

Taalvereisten:
The minimum level required for French taught courses is level B2 according to the common European frame of reference.
For courses taught in English, also a level B2 certificate is required.
