  • The courses offered to exchange students are principally the ones that integrate the Bachelor’s level. 

  • To choose your subjects, follow these steps:
    • Go to the Course Catalogue at the internationalization web site:
    • Choose the specific Degree you are interested in: Exchange students can take almost any subject offered at any Degree, including subjects offered at different Degrees if needed. 

  •  "English Friendly" subjects. In these ones the classes are in Spanish, but the learning materials, tutorials and exams are in English. Students can always address the teacher in English. 

• Taalvereisten: 

  • For courses taught in Spanish it is recommended, but not compulsory, a B1 level of Spanish.

  • If you want to take courses in English you must certify a B2 level (CEFR): document from your home university.

•  UPNA biedt verschillende opties om Spaans te leren: 

  • Intensive Spanish course, free of charge at your arrival, one week, from 9:30 to 13:30. 

  • Semester course of Spanish: two or three sessions/week of 2 hours each session, with a discount of 50% for exchange students. 

  • Online course of Spanish

  • Erasmus Play:  Europese zoekmachine voor studentenhuisvesting.
    Deze gebruiksvriendelijke tool maakt het voor u mogelijk om alle beschikbare accommodatie mogelijkheden snel en gemakkelijk te vergelijken. Helpt fraude vermijden: alle accommodaties worden aangeboden door erkende platforms.

Tip van Jonas (ex-exchange):  accommodatie vinden is zeker niet simpel. Ten eerste zou ik hierover zeggen: begin echt optijd te zoeken. Ten tweede zijn er ook residenties van de universiteit zelf, deze zijn een goed alternatief voor als je zelf niks vind. Maar ook voor deze moet je op tijd een reservering maken. Ten derde denk ik dat outgoing students ook zeker een berichtje kunnen sturen naar de Instagram pagina van ESN. Dat zijn heel vriendelijke (en plaatselijke) personen, die gaan je zeker willen helpen met accommodatie te vinden!

• 500 euros is the minimum you may need to live each month, but you will need around 800 euros per month if you intend to travel or enjoy other leisure, recreational or training activities.
