Saiful Islam Salim

Hi! I am Saiful Islam Salim, a 4th year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science (CS) at the University of Arizona (UofA). I am currently working as a Graduate Assistant (Research) in the CLU Lab under the supervision of Dr. Mihai Surdeanu. My research interests are in Natural Language Processing, focusing on GenAI, language understanding, and relation extraction.

Before coming to UofA, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) (November 2018 - July 2021) under the supervision of Prof. A. B. M. Alim Al Islam. I have completed my M.Sc. and B. Sc. in CSE from BUET in August 2021 and October 2018 respectively. I was a member of the Next-generation Computing (NeC) research group in CSE, BUET.
