Why did you leave me? 

You left and brought the bad times to me, 

You promised you’d stay, 

That you would make it all go away. 

But that’s the lie that sent me astray, 

Destined to go into the grey. 

Did you know they’d hunt me? 

Smell the different seeping from me, 

Cause I wasn’t what they expected and that made them 

Say all the things that took my happiness away. 

So go away!

You left me for the frenzy, 

Leave me without delay 

Leave me as my insides decompose and float away, 

As the vultures take and take until something else comes their way. 

You left me to the fray, 

So let me be!
