About the Wilbanks CEASE Clinic
The Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation (CEASE) Clinic at the University of Georgia School of Law is the first of its kind in the nation, representing survivors of child sexual abuse in civil lawsuits and juvenile court dependency proceedings. The clinic not only provides direct representation to survivors, but also serves as a teaching center as part of the University of Georgia School of Law. Through a partnership with the University of Georgia School of Social Work, CEASE also provides trauma-informed case management, referral, and advocacy services to clients.
