The purpose

This momentous integrated event will bring together academics and professionals and promote the free debate of ideas, learning based on the exchange of knowledge, the dissemination of quality scientific and technological knowledge, and the coordination of strategic and educational actions to consolidate the area of Public Administration. It will also focus on the emerging field of Creative Economy and Public policy expertise, emphasizing (post)graduate studies and focusing on Brazil in exchange with foreign organizations and universities.

Brazil and other countries, especially in the Global South, seek innovative solutions and means to resume socioeconomic growth, in which creativity can be a powerful guideline for inclusion, resilience and sustainable development.

In this edition, in celebration of UFV's 100th anniversary, we will seek to focus on the theme:

Glocalization through VowelsActions, Effects, Impacts, Opportunities and Utopias

Territories have been the object of processes, movements, and tensions involving local and global issues, often conflicting. But how do these interactions between local and global occur in the context of the creative economy and related public policies? How are people and institutions positioning themselves and making their discourses effective in this context?
The theme of glocalization presents itself as a way of understanding the duality between local and global issues based on the active and virtuous (but not merely positivist) understanding of people and institutions as vocal voices.
This requires considering how people have a voice and are welcomed in a democratic environment through institutions, referring to citizen participation for the development of the creative economy and collaborative governance as a form of co-production of public policies for territories, referring to:

Actions for a prosperity agenda, formulation and implementation of integrative projects;

Effects that need to be monitored and monitored by the people/institutions involved;

Impacts assessed with transparency, accountability and integrity;

Opportunities to be generated through entrepreneurship and generation of business, work, employment and income;

Utopias can still be sought, shared and co-created with perseverance and sustainability.
