Pranav Satheesh
BIO
I grew up in Kerala, India, and went to undergrad at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Chennai. I was involved in gravitational waves research, working on waveform modeling for LIGO detections. I transitioned to working on supermassive black holes and galaxy evolution after I started my PhD at UF. I am interested in science communication and volunteer as a science writer for Astrobites. I love drawing and I am starting an effort to make science comics. I also enjoy watching movies, playing board games, cooking, traveling, and hiking.
