OVERVIEW
I am in my second year of my Physics Ph.D. My background is in astronomy and astrophysics, but I decided to pursue physics with the intent of having a more well-rounded education before conducting research in a field under the umbrella of astrophysics or cosmology. I am part of the UF LIGO Group under Paul Fulda. This summer, I am working on my first major project, which involves "alignment sensing and control" for gravitational-wave detectors.
