OVERVIEW
I started pursuing my Ph. D. degree at the University of Florida in 2021. During my first year, I studied light-matter interactions and the transient dynamics of 2D materials, gaining experience with van der Waals heterostructures and developing an interest in moiré systems. Since my second year, I have focused on the transport properties of GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wire devices at ultralow temperatures, exploring strongly correlated electrons in both traditional semiconductors and 2D materials.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Physics, Wuhan University, 2020
Research Interests
I am especially interested in experimentally characterizing the strong electron-electron interactions arising in low-dimensional systems, including the one-dimensional Luttinger liquid systems, and novel 2D materials such as atomically thin materials and van der Waals hetero-structures.
